Immersion by Anna Maria Papadimitriou
Anna Maria Papadimitriou's paints underwater landscapes in brightly coloured oils, inviting the viewer to wander into unchartered waters of a dreamlike watery environment - the ocean, the starting point for life and for creation.
“Rooted in Greece and connected to wider contemporary art practices, the artists of Plastico Gallery explore different ways of seeing the world — from intimate internal landscapes and intuitive ceramics to reflective compositions shaped by Japanese aesthetics, European traditions, and the atmosphere of Syros island.”
Spiros Baras, Artist and Founder of Plastico Gallery
The Becoming of Us by Agni Roussou
Agni Roussou creates intimate, dreamlike worlds where poetic figures and layered colours come together with a sense of tenderness and mystery. Her work often feels like a quiet narrative, shaped by memory, ritual, and human connection.
Cat and Cranes by Spiros Baras
Spiros Baras patiently captures the fine details of the stately town of Emoupolis using coloured pencils in pastel colours or pen on bamboo paper.
His trademark style is inspired by Ukiyo-e, a genre of Japanese art which flourished between the 17th and 19th centuries, where a single block is carved for each colour.
